IN2IT INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL- TAMASHA LA MZIKI SUNNDALSØRA
Tendai was the man behind this great event of In2It International Dance Festival at Sunndalsøra. His aim is to invite dancers from other countries and towns to dance and also have workshop. It is also one of the way he wishes the local community to mingle with foreigners. Personal I think the idea is great to launch such event at a place where only there is one type of style. I love Rock I can not deny but different types of music also make different people to meet at concert or for curiosity to learn, enjoy or dance to new music. Silent drums was the name of the theme with great dancers and musicians!
Tendai na wenzake wakiwa wanacheza mziki Hovsalen Kulturhus Sunndalsøra. Na yeye ndie mwandaaji wa tamasha hili. Maana bila yeye kuleta tamasha hili hapa ni kitu Rock tuu tunapiga. Hata mimi binafsi huwa napenda mziki huo ila ukitaka watu wenye utamaduni mbalimbali kukutana au watu wa huku kujua mila nyingine inabidi uonyeshe asili tofauti kama kwenye sanaa. Nia yake ilikua pia kuwakutanisha wageni na wenyeni wa hapa waonane na wajifunze virutubisho vya asili kutoka kwenye utamaduni mwengine ulio tofauti na wao. Na pia hata wale wanaotaka sikiliza mziki tofauti kidogo walipata nafasi kujiliwaza.
I was at reharsal with Tendai and Jimu Makurumbandi. They are wonderful musicans and artist that I had great time to work with. One learns new things meeting new people and musicians. For me it was first experience to sing with Kora instrument.
Kwa mara ya kwanza nikiwa natumia chombo cha mziki Kora. Ni vizuri kukutana na watu wapya na wanamziki maana mtu unajifunza vitu vipya maishani. Hii ilikua mara yangu ya kwanza kuimba kwa kutumia Kora na Tendai na Jimu ni wanamziki mashuhuri wenye vipaji vikubwa vya kimziki kuimba na kupiga!

Nikiwa nyumbani nikijitaarisha kabla ya maonyesho!
Yani usiku huu nido nikajua kitu gani nimekikosa kwenye mziki wangu. Nikaseam asili ni muhimu kwa hiyo mwakani nakuleteeni mziki wa kukata mauno full ndio asili yetu tena. Nime miss mno mziki wa midundo ya namna hii na usiku huu kwani tulifanya remix ya mziki tukaongeza vyombo ikawa inachezeka kiasili!
This night is when I was inspired to create African Pop music because I love to dance and I missed to dance big time. So from next year you should expect more Afropop music from me so you can shake and wine with it. That night we made our music to that genre it was like a remix of my songs so they give more african flavor! I was so much inspired by that night!
I met great songwriter and producer Vegar Dahl! That night he was also Dj and guess who sat down? I can not even remember but we had great time dancing great music that we hardly hear at Sunndal except at my home or when I am in big towns like Trondheim!

Chilling with Neffy before performance. It was nice to meet her not least the funny moments we had that made me laugh a lot that night! I can not even right but funny and silly moments too :)
Live Stand up or sit down as Sebastian himself called it! He was such a funny guy with a lot to inspire in life. It was that time I needed that too been pumped up with great positive words filled with hope and great sense of humor! I learned that Sebastian also was into music and they are producing great artists!
Kulikua pia na mchekeshaji alituacha tukikosa mbavu kwa vicheko. Jamaa huyu kwa kweli alikua na mengi ya kusema ya kumpa mtu matuamini ya maisha. maana yeye mwenyewe ni kilema ila ulemavu wake na vitu alivyofanikisha maishaini huwezi amini hata robo. Kila kitu jamani ni kujiamini na kujituma. Alinipa matumaini mengi usiku huu na pia alituchekesha mno mzee Sebastian kwa jina lake kamili!
