Biography
The producer and song-writer behind the work of WaterflyMusic is Stig Rindvoll.
He began playing the guitar at the age of 12, but after playing in several bands and when he found himself with a stronger desire to write songs, he bought himself a computer and started producing music on his own. e not a surprise that you can find influences of both classical music and folk music, but also influences of pop and rock in the core sound of WaterflyMusic. There are always new and fresh ideas for new material, but the strive for perfectionism in the process of producing trance is the reason why there aren’t new songs made every day, since each one of them needs to be unique.
In the last years WaterflyMusic has gotten a guitarist, Øyvind Wærnes, and Natasha Shyrose is the vocalist in the band.
Natasha’s vocals bring beautiful life to the music with her African roots. When she dances, nobody can stand still, not even you!
Øyvind brings a lot of strength and knowledge from the hard rock genre into the band, with a remarkable talent to play guitar.
When the sound of these three artists melts together, you get the sense that the music certainly moves you, both musically and spiritually.
In the last couple of years, Stig has gotten help from a variety of amazingly talented song-writers, re-mixers, vocalists and other musicians:
Kimmi Sandhu, Bruce Posey, Anne Judith Stokke Wik (Stargate, Soda, Dsign Music), Tale Fjell Egeberg, Lise Olden, Siri Bones, Idd Aziz, Attila Borza, FiliJokkus, Fantasque, Saphire&weimaR, DJ Sakin, Sagen & Jonas, Martin Garstad, Tina Dany aka Cherry and Jan Roar Gjersvold.
WaterflyMusic uses a lot of different software and hardware to produce their beautiful and transcending music. They use acoustic/electric string instruments and real percussions, even though it is quite unusual in the trance genre. By bringing these instruments in the production, it gives the audience a whole new live experience than what only a DJ can give.
